Vintage Early Tiffany Studios Favrile Art Glass Insert

This vintage hard to find glass item is very early Tiffany Studios, New York favrile art glass, circa 1898. It is signed, LCT & numbered Y6072, next to its polished pontil. The open end is gently fluted & tapers to the pontil. The art glass insert was used, by the Tiffany Studios, in high end vases to hold water & prevent the vase glass from becoming "sick". It is rare to find & especially rare to find one in excellent/mint condition.
