    This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany "Favrile" gold iridescent Art Glass low bowl/dish with "pigtails", c. early 1900's.
    This beautiful Favrile art glass dish has vibrant gold iridescent coloration and is stunning with highlights of purple/blue iridescence on the  upper rim and exterior.  The dish is further embellished with pulled "pigtails" which is considered a SCARCE design. M
    arked with etched signature "L. C. T".

    he condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs.
    Measures 1 1/8" high and 5 3/4" in diameter. Weighs 9 ounces.
    "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
