TIFFANY STUDIOS, PINE NEEDLE, 2 COMPARTMENT LETTER RACK, GREEN GLASS, PATINA~~~

For auction is a very nice letter rack made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The pattern is the ever popular and highly collected "Pine Needle" desk set pattern. This is known as the 3 tier 2 compartment letter rack in the Tiffany Studios Pine Needle desk set pattern. The letter rack is rather large as it stands 6 3/16" tall, 10" wide and 2 3/8" deep.
The letter rack displays a nice Tiffany green/brown organic patina. The acid etched pattern of Pine Needles and Pine Cones has been a popular pattern among LC Tiffany collectors for years. The letter rack has two toned green Favrile opalescent glass and is considered one of the most desired in the desk set pieces to collect. There are two compartments for letter storage with this piece. The letters cannot be more than 9 1/2" wide as this is the inside fit for both compartments. The patina is outstanding as you can see vivid reds and greens with brown coloring.
The letter rack is considered to be in very good to excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or to any of the glass or frame. I cannot find any excuses for this letter rack. The letter rack is signed on the bottom with the "Tiffany Studios New York" impressed signature mark. There is also the model number “1008” impressed just underneath.
Tiffany started numbering his desk set pieces usually with a 3 digit number after 1902. Since this has a 3 digit number it was made circa 1902-1915. I'm positive the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the

unless it is paid for.
They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
