Stunning Louis Comfort Tiffany gold favrile ruffled bowl. Just about 7” across the top. It has a number of issues, small chips, and one crack that I see. The finish in the bottom center is marred a bit as you can see as well. It’s far from perfect but exquisite from far. From a couple feet away it glimmers and smiles at you as if it were perfect. If you ever wonder why Tiffany is so highly regarded you need only to look quickly at this well loved example. It is signed L.C.T. and there is a number that looks like 6968.
