    This listing is for a beautiful Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass scalloped edge bowl or dish, c. 1900.
    The bowl has a rich golden Favrile interior with green and blue highlights. The interior has a ribbed or spoke that radiates out from the center and has a widely scalloped edge and sits on a polished pontil on base. The exterior has silver-blue and purple highlight. The pontil is marked "L. C. T. , Favrile".
    Measures 1 3/4" high and 7" in diameter. Weighs 12.2 ounces.

    his nice bowl is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
    "Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
