Tiffany & Co Porcelain Dish - Japan

Description

This is an excellent condition original Tiffany & Co. Japan out of production world traveler porcelain dish.  The piece measures 4 15/16 inch at the top rim (diameter), standing 2 1/4 inches tall.  The dish is decorated with a compass mark at the bottom of the bowl.  The sides are highly colored dominated by a blue banding.  The eastern hemisphere map is on one side with the western hemisphere map on the other.  The 1/4 tall base is gold banded and 2 1/4 inch round.  Tiffany & Co. JAPAN is marked in gold lettering on the bottom.  It weighs 6.3 oz. (179 grams).  No cracks or crazing.
