This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany "Favrile" gold iridescent Art Glass salt cellar, c. early 1900's.
This beautiful salt cellar has vibrant gold iridescent coloration with strong highlights of purple and blue. The ruffled/scalloped top edge is fairly uniform in the crimping where most of the salts have uneven free-form crimping on the edge. M
arked with etched signature "L. C. T." and "Favrile".

he condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Measures 1" high and 2 3/4"in diameter.
"Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
