This listing is for a gorgeous Tiffany "Favrile" gold iridescent Art Glass wavy edged dish with candlestick shaped interior well, fully signed and numbered 2039G, c. early 1900's.
This beautiful dish has vibrant gold iridescent coloration with strong blue highlights. The top edge has a wavy edge with wide scallops. The dish has a short pedestal base and deep center well that would hold a candle, if desired.
The base is m
arked with etched signature "L. C. T., Favrile, #2039G".

he condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Measures 1 1/2" high and 4 7/8" in diameter. Center opening is 1". Weighs 6.2 ounces.
"Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
