Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Pin—Knute Rockne Era—Circa 1920-30s

For sale is a Knute Rockne Notre Dame football souvenir pin from the era of 1920 to the 1930s. It was purchased from Hunt Auctions earlier this year. Hunt Auctions described the pin as:
"Original souvenir button depicting a portrait image of Knute Rockne super imposed on Notre Dame Stadium. The button/pin has original ribbon suspension and a painted tin football ornament. General wear with some ribbon fraying:. The pin is 3.5 to 4" tall in total. See the pictures to get a better idea of the condition and the fraying to the ribbon.
This is an excellent piece of Notre Dame football memorabilia from the historic Rockne era.
