LCT TIFFANY, GOLD FAVRILE, PIGTAIL GRECIAN URN CABINET MINIATURE VASE, WONDERFUL

Description

For auction is a lovely gold iridescent vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This is known as a cabinet miniature vase. I have only seen a few of these vases through the 47 years I have been in this business. The vase stands 3 3/8" tall and is 2 3/8" in diameter at the shoulder.
This miniature cabinet vase displays a shape similar to a Grecian urn. It has a tapered shoulder form with tall extended neck that flares out and rolls back in forming the top lip with a small hole to
receive
a small flower. It is further decorated with several of these pigtail shaped pulls coming from the shoulder and lower body. There are 7 of these throughout the vase. The gold Favrile iridescence is just outstanding as you can see. As an added bonus for you eye candy folks is the top area of the shoulder and the beginning of the neck. It has the most incredible rich Fuchsia iridescence with hints of blue
iridescence
that makes it look as if this area is hot or on fire.
This vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings to any of the glass. It has a few tiny small pin marks in the iridescence and none are too obtrusive. The Gold Favrile, Aurene is simply outstanding!! The vase is signed on the bottom "L.C.Tiffany Favrile   6250 H ". You can date when this vase was made by the suffix letter H. The pieces of art glass blown by Tiffany's Studios carry that suffix letter were made circa 1913.
Those of you who collect Tiffany Favrile miniatures and want a hard to find example in excellent condition look no further. This vase will enhance any art glass miniature collection.

I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
merchandise
unless it is paid for.
They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.5% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.5%. This is an increase of 8.6% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.5% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
