This listing is for a lovely Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass footed salt cellar, c. 1900.
This salt cellar has vibrant gold iridescent coloration with highlights of silver-blue and aqua blue. M
arked with etched signature "L. C. T".
Measures 1 1/2" high and 2 1/4" in diameter. Weighs 2.2 ounces.

his nice salt cellar is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of wear. There is one tiny scratch in the iridescent finish on the exterior to the left of one foot.
"Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
