    These were originally part of a 3 pack, and the third one stopped working recently. I kind of need all three, so I ended up getting a new set. These two are still perfectly good, and I continued to use them for several weeks without the third with no issues. Even with two, it worked pretty well in a 2000 square foot house with walls that seem to really hate WiFi. If your house is much bigger than that though, you'll probably need more than 2.
