Antique Engraved Gold LCT TIFFANY FAVRILE Art Glass BOWL SIGNED - C. 1900

Description

It is my sincerest honor to be placing an authentic Louis Comfort Tiffany Favrile Antique bowl up for auction.
This Tiffany FAVRILE gold iridescent Art Glass bowl/dish is decorated with engraved leaf design in center and scalloped upper rim. Glass has silvery-blue and bronze highlights with some of the leaves having a green cast. Marked with etched signature "L. C. T." on base. Favrile glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's Aurene glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
The bowl is is in good antique condition. Does not have any chips, cracks, or repairs of any kind. Does have some shelf wear on the bottom and minor scratching on edges of the rim. Please look over the photos. Overall it's in excellent condition and would make a magnificent addition to any collectors archive.
Measures 3" high and 6" in diameter. Weighs 15 ounces.
