Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Enamel Pin Brooch - Detroit Pennant within a Laurel Leaf Wreath | Baseball Pin

Dating to the early 1900s or so, here's a Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) featuring a pennant set at the center of a laurel leaf wreath. Perhaps an award pin for the winner of a regatta or one to celebrate the 1907 pennant win of the Detroit Tigers baseball team - Ty Cobb being the notable player on the team. The pennant bears the written notation DETROIT over a pale blue enamel background at the center. Size is 3/4" high/wide. Weight is 2 grams. Simple c-catch closure to hold the pin in place. Fabulous condition with a "perfect patina" front and maybe a light polish being needed on the reverse. if indeed a baseball collectible, the value is high - I see 2 similar (not exact) pins on the Internet that are badly damaged - one is for sale at 5, the other around 0. Ouch!
