Each is 1.25" and has Brazel Novelty Mfg. Co of Cincinnati, OH back paper. Each has baseball design w/team name. One adds date of 1939 and this has spring pin holding pair of ribbons w/wood bat and plastic ball. The other is variety with "Champions." The 1939 Reds were winners of the National League pennant with a regular season record of 97-57 under National Baseball Hall of Fame manager Bill McKechnie. This Cincinnati ball club was led by future Hall of Fame star catcher Ernie Lombardi, who was the NL MVP the previous season in 1938. The Reds would go on to lose the 1939 World Series to the mighty New York Yankees in four straight games. Trace of ribbon wear, all else Exc. to NM.
