    Description

These are 11 pieces of authentic Tiffany Studios glass that came from the 2013 excavation at the site of Louis Comfort Tiffany's studios,
on the corner of Main Street and Irving Place (now 43rd Avenue and 97th Place, Corona, Queens, NY ), upon which was built PS110, The Tiffany School.  These still have residual soil on them and can have residual mineral deposits. They had been buried in the ground for at least 81 years; they may have hairline cracks within, marks, pitting, iridescence, etc
Just some wonderful glass in this auction.
In the lead photo, the tall, rectangular piece on the left, the one with the very near clear glass....this piece reminds me of an aquamarine glass vase that I saw online. This glass is quite clear, but with a subtle yellow area AND the piece has, in my opinion, a shimmering golden background to it.
The top center piece has nice ribboning / coloring of a sky blue - what I have seen referred to as a Tiffany Blue.
The square amber / yellow piece on the right has hazing as does the piece directly to ITS left.
The bottom right white piece has nice mottling to it and when backlit, within the mottling circles, one can see nice luminescence.
Top left green piece - on the surface can be seen some mineral deposits? that remind me of cypriote glass coloring.
They have sharp edges; small chips at the edges, mineral residue on some surfaces, surface breaks are mostly at the edges.
    Sold as is, no returns.
